7/8 is larger than 3/8. They have the same denominator, or whole, so you would want the fraction with the bigger numerator, for you would get more pieces of the fraction.

Yeah I guess you would get more peices.

I have fixed the link Kat. what other comments could you add to this post. what happened in slide 1, slide 2 etc. The information you have on your large paper is what needs to be there. To edit this post simply go back to your dashboard and instead of create a new post click edit posts and you will be able to edit your post. Great job for getting off the ground. Thanks

i raelly like the idea about 'if the denominator is the same look at the numreator' and vise-versa . its a good idea .

yeah, i really get the idea . ' denoiminator the same, and vise versa .

There was many different strategies to figuring out which fraction is bigger without a calculator,, I f you actually look at the fractin it is very simple to explain your answer on which one is larger.

well i think that just looking at the fraction you could just tell which one is bigger because since the denominators the same you just look at the numerator and see which numerator number is larger than the other.

I agree about the denom. and numerat. thing.

i think that it's easy if the denominators are the same because all you have to do is look at the denominator and compare it with the numerator . that makes it easier to tell which one's larger . it also helps if you have a calculator so you see what the decimal version looks like .

i get fractions better now with the size matters and stuff like that now because of all that we disscussed.

Yes, I agree with your statement.
