7/12 of a clock is 35 minutes.1/4 of a clock is 15 minutes.35+15=50

50 minutes is bigger then 40 minutes. 50 minutes is bigger then 40 by 10.

Bicycle bike race

try it out for yourself.

7.We did the chop suey thing to get the km markers.
60/3=20 half of that is 10 and half of 1/3= 1/6, and
you have that again to get 1/12=5.

8.To get 1/4 of 16 you go 16/4=4 then you times that by 3
to get 3/4 of 16 which equals 12. Multiply your answer from
1/4 three times because 1/4 would equal 1 out of 4 pieces, 3/4
is 3 out of 4 pieces. So 4 x3 = 12 (1/4 x 3 = 3/4).

9.The question similar to the test is 3/4 + 1/4 does not equal 4/8.
clock: 3/4 on clock is 45 minutes and 1/4 is 15 minutes. Add 45 and 15 and you get 60(minutes).
If you reduce 4/8 to the lowest point possible it's 1/2 which means 30 minutes.
3/4+1/4=60 minutes beats 4/8 = 30 minutes.
