3. to get 1/2 of 60 you go 60 / 2 = 30 minutes. to get 1/6 of 60 you go 60 / 6 = 10 minutes. 40 minutes or 40/60 or 4/6 all together to get 1/4 of 60 you go 60 / 4 = 15 minutes. to get 7/12 of 60 you go 60 / 12 = 5 times 7 because its 7/12 so 5 times 7 equals 35 mintues. 50 minutes or 50 / 60 or 5/6

I counted every twelfth, sixth and third of the way. The pattern I saw is that 3 is the half of 6 and 6 is the half of 12.
