What I learned About Volumes and Surface Area

I learned that to get the volume you the to use a formula.

l x w x h =

3 x 3 x 3 = 27cm3

27 cubes = 27cm3

To get the Surface Area you also need a formula. You also have to add all the area of the square, top, bottom, sides, the back and the front.

Surface Area = 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 24 cm2
